The College of Engineering and Technology (CET) offers unique opportunities for innovative education and research. We transform our students into Engineers and Technologists with strong knowledge and handsome skill for sound practice in science, technology, and engineering. At present, the College is geared toward becoming the school of choice in computing education, delivering high-quality, industry-aligned, and globally competitive training, and producing highly competent and God-centered IT professionals.

The College of Engineering and Technology was one of the departments initially established in 1995 There were various courses offered such as; BS in Civil Engineering, BS in Electrical Engineering, BS in Electronics Engineering, BS in Industrial Engineering, BS in Computer Engineering, and BS in Computer Science. Presently, the CET offers BS in Electronics Engineering and BS in Computer Engineering, the only programs retained since the college’s establishment. The BS in Information Technology also presently offered by the University replaced BS in Computer Science Years later, other fields of specialization such as Data Science and Cybersecurity were added to BSIT.

The College of Engineering and Technology (CET) is committed to the growth of the Manileño’s by developing Information Technology and Engineering professionals, entrepreneurs, managers, and new technologies.

A leader in engineering and technological education, molding its students to their fullest potential with the aid of state-of-the-art instructional paraphernalia and teaching methods, as well as an active participant in the continuous refinement process of Engineering and Technology curricula in the close collaboration with other high educational institutions, industries, and the government.

Meaning and Description:

• The Communication Tower represents the Electronics and Communications Engineering programs.
• The Chips and Circuit Boards represent the Computer Engineering and IT programs.
• The Maple Leaf symbolizes strength and endurance, which color turns from green to yellow or orange.
• The Roman Numerals MCMXCV translates to 1995, the year the University was established.

• The College of Engineering and Technology is represented by the color Orange stimulating the intensity in systems development, rising infrastructures, and digitization that its students and faculty are known for. As a mood-lifting color, it also creates an image of optimistic innovation.

• We are home to board passers for Engineering from basic to advanced level.

Bachelor Of Science in Information Technology – Data Science Track

The BSIT program with Data Science concentration covers fundamental IT, and computer and programming skills, while emphasizing on information and data preparation, visualization, and analysis through the use of the basic statistical concepts applied throughout data. The program is primarily designed to address the growing needs for data scientists globally. 

The program prepares graduates to take a methodical, focused, and logical approach to data science problems with the application of technical know-how in being able to approach data challenges. The key focus is on practical problem-solving skills. 

The graduates of this program will be equipped with the skills to pursue careers in data-driven industries and organizations. 

Bachelor Of Science in Information Technology – Cybersecurity Track

The BSIT program with cybersecurity concentration (BSCYB) focuses on real-life online and cybersecurity measures concept and best prac4ces. It will equip students with quality skills in problem solving and design in order to come up with appropriate solutions in cybersecurity concerns such as implement a security plan by ins4tu4ng process controls to protect information assets, execute recovery strategies, manage cybersecurity threats based on industry frameworks and standards, and demonstrate ethical and social responsibility. 

The program prepares the students to become information security analysts, chief information security officers, IT manager, and/or security engineers. 

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) is a program that embodies the science and technology of design, development, implementation, maintenance and integration of software and hardware components in modern computing systems and computer-controlled equipment. 

Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering

The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSEcE) is a program dealing with the development and application of devices and systems involving the flow of electrons or other carriers of electric charge in order to amplify and control electric current flow.

Universidad De Manila is one of the two locally funded higher-education institutions of Manila offering free college education to the city’s under-privileged students.
