College of Mass Communication

The College of Mass Communication is a newly created College by the then President Dr. Benjamin G. Tayabas based on his Administrative Order No.52, s. 2015, dated July 11, 2015.

It states that, “the specific areas of inquiry and research in communication and mass media (journalism, radio-TV broadcasting, and satellite communication) have develop a “niche” of their own requiring academic approach to education, training and research independent of, if not separate from, any liberal arts courses.” Thus, the college was born.

Vision

A result-oriented College designed to mold students to become model media practitioners dedicated to the promotion of responsible practice of Journalism in print, radio, television, film and social media.

Mission

It is our aim to integrate and inculcate the values of hard work and commitment, instilling on students the ethics of good journalism, making them responsible investigative journalists, effective critique writers, broadcasters, trustworthy public relations practitioners and useful citizens of the land.
