The College of Engineering and Technology (CET) believes in the wholistic development of students in the aspects of morality, academic, and skills competence and global competitiveness, professionalism, nationalism, and dedication to services


Inspired by Christian ideals and propelled by the examples of great Filipino men and women of poor origins, the College of Engineering and Technology envisages itself as a leader in engineering and technological education, molding its student to their fullest potentials with the aid of state-of-the-art instructional paraphernalia and teaching methods, as well as an active participant in the continuous process of refinement of the Engineering and Technology curricula in close collaboration with other higher educational institutions, industries, and the Government.


The Faculty of the College of Engineering and Technology of Universidad de Manila (former City College of Manila) commits itself to the pursuit of excellence in the areas of engineering and technology to produce globally competitive Engineers and other technical professionals who are imbued with a pioneering spirit and christian attributes, and cognizant of their social responsibility and paramount role in nation building.


Universidad De Manila is one of the two locally funded higher-education institutions of Manila offering free college education to the city’s under-privileged students.
